The main point of the Job Club Network is to help Illinois residents with their job search. In the group, you’ll be able to discuss various aspects of job searching with fellow job seekers. For example, you might discuss content, questions, and suggestions related to you or other members’ search. You can get feedback on your resume and give feedback to other members. You can share information about job search tips or upcoming hiring events. You can also post news from your industry that you find interesting.
Here are a few tips for taking part in in the group:
You can use activity in our group or an industry’s group to boost your activity on LinkedIn. When you post something in a group, it shows in your activity feed and your connections’ feeds.
You may be in other career-related LinkedIn groups. If you are, be sure to use the same methods we explained above in those groups. Share news and updates you find while doing company research for interviews. If you do not feel as if you are a good fit for a job you come across, share it with these groups so others may apply.
