Chicago Mayoral Candidates Disability Forum

Add to Calendar 4:00 PM 12/13/20185:30 PM America/Chicago Chicago Mayoral Candidates Disability Forum

Disability voters are closely watching the race to become the next Mayor of Chicago. Join us for this panel-style event to hear from candidates vying to become mayor of the country's third-largest city. Candidates will share about their vision for the City of Chicago and respond to disability-specific issue questions. This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with candidates.

This event is non-partisan and should not be considered an endorsement by any of the supporting organizations. Given the high number of candidates in this race, expect an update in December as to the exact confirmed candidates and the final event panel format. The questions for the forum have been selected from a public survey of disability voters conducted in September 2018.

This forum will be live-streamed for those who prefer to access it from home; the link for the live stream video and CART will be made available closer to the date of the event. CART, ASL interpreters and personal attendants will be available on site. The venue is physically accessible. When you register, there is an option to request disability accommodations. You can also contact Monica at mhamada@accessliving.org for other disability-related accommodations requests.
