RECOMMENDED FOR EMPLOYEES!

Many people have preconceived ideas about what constitutes sexual harassment in the workplace. In today’s society there is no room for doubt. Employees need to know for certain what sexual harassment is and what to do when they are confronted with it.

Participants will engage in a series of thoughtful discussions and exercises about the different perceptions of appropriate and inappropriate conduct. Participants will learn about two types of sexual harassment: quid pro quo and hostile work environment. The training will focus on how to employ several precautionary measures to avoid misunderstandings and accusations of sexual harassment in the workplace.  (2 hours)

REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS: Training with the Illinois Department of Human Rights Institute for Training and Development are accessible to and usable by persons with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Illinois Human Rights Act.
