This workshop will cover the basics of MLA and APA style citation, including how you decide if something needs to be cited, in-text citations, and citations at the end of your paper. We’ll discuss how to use a citation or style manual as a guide for creating citations, and what paper formatting looks like in each style. You will also learn how to incorporate a piece of research into your paper using signal phrases, and where quotes should be placed to be the most effective.

The workshop is at 3 p.m. in the Miner Memorial Library, Room L161 on the Lower level.
