America Needs You invites you to volunteer with us on Saturday, April 27th! We will be holding a career development workshop as well as a special event, our annual Clothing Day. We need volunteers to serve as Career Coaches and Clothing Day Volunteers.
Career Coaches participate in the career development workshop alongside Fellows and Mentor Coaches. They follow a structured curriculum and participate in small group activities as well as one-on-one conversations with students as they work on critical career skills. Our workshop topics of the day are Industry Investigation Presentations (Year 1 cohort) and Life After College (Year 2 cohort).
Clothing Day Volunteers will assist in the setup and execution of a clothing shopping experience for our Fellows as they gear up for their summer internships. This includes supporting the staff in steaming, hanging, and folding clothing donations, arranging the male and female shopping rooms, and guiding students as they look for business casual and business professional clothing and accessories that work for them.
Please register by Wednesday, 4/24 for the volunteer opportunity you most prefer by selecting either a "Career Coach Volunteer" or "Clothing Day Volunteer" ticket.
