EDUCATING MINDFULLY CONFERENCE

Each day of our Educating Mindfully Conference will develop adult SEL (social-emotional learning) competencies and dive deep into how students learn, trauma-informed ACE (adverse childhood experience) healing practices, using mindfulness as an equity tool, creating a school culture of compassion and inclusion, restorative justice practices, and teacher self-care practices to manage stress and prevent burnout.

 

Friday aligns with Kane and DuPage County's Teacher Institute Day and will have an extensive array of mindfulness topics and programs covered with a focus on resources and furthering your professional development. 

 

Saturday will start with an interactive workshop led by James Butler, District SEL Mindfulness Specialist at Austin ISD, and will end with schools from across the globe sharing unique ways they are integrating mindfulness.

 

Thursday and Sunday will have full and half-day workshops and training intensives focused on deepening our understanding and practice of yoga and mindfulness, and in some cases, gaining confidence using specific curriculums.
