Manufacturing Leader Buzz Session: Connecting on Critical Issues
You’ve been listening…now it’s time to discuss and learn together.
Webinars are helpful. Talking with peers is vital. We’ve designed a unique opportunity to share with peers the tips and strategies that guide you and your company.

July 21 Session: Workplace Health & Safety Protocol
Join a group of manufacturers for a virtual roundtable discussion about health and safety practices. This is your chance to question other manufacturers about their best practices and challenges. You can also share some safety practices and policies that you are proud to have introduced to your employees. We will focus on any and all areas of health and safety for which you have interest - this is not just a discussion of COVID related safety issues.

Facilitator: Mary Hallock, Technical Specialist | IMEC

What It Is: These invite-only interactive 60-90 minute sessions focus on critical topics in a small group peer setting. Manufacturing leaders sharing and learning from one another. Topics are based on leader priorities related to key drivers for global competitiveness. These are lightly facilitated conversations. The topic and your starting questions will be shared in advance of the roundtable. Active participation by all attendees will impact the vibrancy of the conversation.

What It Is Not: The Manufacturing Buzz Session is not a sit-back-and-listen presentation. And definitely not a sales pitch!

Who: Up to 10 manufacturing owners/senior leaders, plus an IMEC facilitator and note taker.Participation is exclusive to leaders from Illinois manufacturing companies.

Why: Ask for peer advice; share and learn best practices; network with other manufacturing leaders from across the state. And who knows, maybe you’ll form business opportunities together!

Where: Sessions are hosted on a virtual platform, with all participants using video.
