Lake Land College 8th Grade Career Conference
The 32nd annual 8th Grade Career Conference is April 11-12, 2024!
Lake Land College invites eighth-grade students and their educators from surrounding schools to the campus to learn about future career paths and choices within the community as they prepare to choose their high school classes.
At the Conference, presenters will enlighten students on different occupations and discuss the educational/technical needs for many vocations. Exploring various career opportunities enables students to prepare for their educational needs in high school, which ultimately affects their college and career objectives.
In 2023, nearly 2,000 students and educators attended, with 70 businesses participating.
