ECED to Infinity & Beyond: Online Best Practices
The Illinois Community College Board is hosting a webinar series on Hyflex & Online Instruction for Early Childhood Educators. Participate in the webinar series to increase capacity in delivering high-quality online or Hyflex Early Childhood Education (ECED) courses; explore techniques for instructional design that promote community building and connection, brain-friendly online classroom climates, and strategic teaching.
The May 10th webinar focuses on the Materials Selection. Discover practical strategies for matching materials and methodologies to promote autonomy and create impactful learning experiences. Materials selection encompasses everything from selecting the right tech tools to identifying strong e-texts to understanding Universal Design as an instructional framework. We’ll also explore how fostering self-efficacy and autonomy can significantly boost learner engagement.
After
participating in this webinar series, faculty will be able to:

Integrate Best Practices in Instructional Design into instruction and
assessment, creating online content that aligns with best practices
•
Assess various instructional components and select optimum strategies for
course objectives, content, and format
•
Develop assessments that align with course learning outcomes to facilitate
confirmation of overarching program learning outcomes
