The Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) at the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) is proud to present GovCon WBDC. This 8-week program gives established businesses who are new to government procurement the tools and resources needed to be successful in local and Federal government contracting.

The GovCon WBDC program is the next step to scale your business and diversify your revenues. Meeting once a week, each session covers basic sequential steps of doing business with the government.
Upon
completion of the GovCon WBDC program, participants will have successfully
completed:

Local
government diverse certification (City of Chicago, Cook County,
or State of Illinois)
·
Local
government vendor registration (City of Chicago, Cook County,
or State of Illinois)
·
Federal
government vendor registration (SAM.gov)
·
Business
capability statement
· Preparation of a mock proposal
· Networking with government agencies
·
Two
or more years in business
·
Revenues
of $75,000 or greater
·
Committed
to 8 weeks of onsite and offsite learning and participation
*This program is open to male and female business owners
