Achieving my dreams
Jennifer was referred to the Livingston Workforce Services when a classmate heard that she was having to drive so far to and from class. She was working, earning a low wage and just accepted into the nursing program at Heartland Community College. Due to her work schedule and responsibilities at home, she had to make a few extra attempts at some classes that were required for her program; however, she never gave up and obtained both her LPN and RN licenses while on the program. She is now working full time as a Registered Nurse making over $10 per hour more than when she was she inquired about services.
