Derek contacted the Livingston Workforce Services after being laid off from the employer that he had worked at for 27 years.  He had been considering getting his CDL and inquired about our On-the-job training opportunities.  He had an employer that was willing to work with him to obtain his license as well as get some experience driving a truck.  He earned high marks during his time at his employer but eventually moved on to a larger employer in order to obtain benefits.  He is still working as a truck driver, making more than he made at the employer he had been with her 27 years.
