Jacob contacted Livingston Workforce Services seeking financial assistance with earning his CDL in order to return to work as a truck driver.  He had been recently working in maintenance and was laid off from his employer due to downsizing.  Jacob was eligible for WIOA funding as a recipient of unemployment insurance.  He completed truck driving school at Heartland Community College at the end of January 2018 and was able to secure employment as a truck driver by the beginning of March 2018.
