Career Specialist Michelle Sanchez reports on her customer. “Zoie was working for Rend Lake College earning minimum wage when she came to Man-Tra-Con for assistance in June 2015. Although her hours varied, she never earned enough to be self-sufficient. She planned to begin the Associate Degree Nursing program in fall 2015, but she needed assistance with tuition, fees, books, supplies, and mileage reimbursement,” Michelle explains.

“While enrolled with Man-Tra-Con, Zoie was able to complete her nursing program. She also obtained her RN license and began working for Southern Illinois Healthcare in Carbondale as a Registered Nurse in July 2017, using her credentials. Zoie now earns $21.68 per hour and loves her job,” Michelle reports.
