Occupational Therapy - Helpful Information

Things to know

After 2007, only master's degrees will be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.

Most people with a degree in occupational therapy choose to become certified or licensed to work with patients. You must graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program and pass a national examination. Once you pass, you become an OTR, or Registered Occupational Therapist.
