Some programs require you to learn biblical Hebrew or Greek. You will find that you get new insights into the Bible from being able to understand the original wording.

The Old Testament, especially the first five books, is the foundation of Jewish law and practice. But few people planning to go into the rabbinate major in Biblical studies. The more common route is Jewish studies or rabbinical and Talmudic studies.

Most colleges that offer this program are church-affiliated. You probably will want to study at a college affiliated with your church. Or you might consider one that has generally compatible beliefs. Your clergyperson can give you guidance on this matter.
