Program Description

This hands-on training program is ideal for an individual who wants to start an Information Technology career. It teaches you the skills needed to be a computer service technician and network professional. This program covers installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance,and security of computer hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, cabling, and networks. CCNA certified professionals install, configure and operate LAN, WAN and dial access services for small networks, including but not limited to the use of the following protocols: IP, IGRP, PX, Serial, AppleTAlk, Frame Relay, IP, RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet and Access lists. Cisco Certified Networks Administrators are qualify to identify, design and recommend the best solutions for small or medium home offices and businesses. This program will also prepare you for the three highly recognized professional certifications: CompTia A+, CompTIA Network, and Cisco CCNA. Prerequisites: familiarity with the function of a computer network and basic knowledge of the difference between hardware and software.
