Program Description

This continuing education hands-on training program is ideal for an individual who wants to start an Information Technology career. It teaches you the skills needed to be a computer service technician and a network and security professional. This program convers installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and security of computer hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, cabling and networks. It also covers the duties of those who are responsible for monitoring and detecting security incidents in information systems and networks, and for executing proper response to such incidents. Students will be introduced to tools and tactics to manage cybersecurity risks, while promoting a comprehensive approach to security on the front lines of defense. Learn how to identify various types of common threats, evaluate an organization's security, collect and analyze cybersecurity intelligence, and handle incidents as they occur.
