Program Description

This is a three part program which consists of a student completing the Nurse Assistant program, the Physical Theraphy Aide program and the Office Technology program. The student will complete the Nurse Assistant program and pass the certification exam before completing the Physical Theraphy Aide and Office Technology programs. This program builds upon the basic nurse aide skills to create a person with advanced skills. The student will learn to assist physical therapists in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease.

Application Procedure

Students must meet WIOA eligiblity criteria, attend a Nursing Assistant Information Session, fill out a Triton College Application and take the Triton College Placement Test. Students must have a high school diploma or GED for this program. The costs for the medical exams, background check and certification exam is the responsibility of the participant or the service provider providing the student's ITA and not Triton College. The cost of tuition, books and fees are subject to change. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.
