Program Description

This 60-credit-hour program is designed for individuals interested in expanding previous general office experience or health care training in order to gain the necessary skills to supervise a health care facility. Career options are plentiful and diversified, and include employment in medical offices, clinics, extended care facilities, home health care agencies, or various departments with acute-care settings. Students must complete the general education courses and health care core courses. Additionally, the student has the option to specialize in health care skills and in business-related course work, depending on the student's career objectives. The program my be taken part-time and some courses are available on an evening schedule, online or blended. Must contact Diane Carter-Zubko at 847-758-2372 when approved to pursue program at Harper. Student must apply to Harper College www.harpercollege.edu. Pay $25 application fee or obtain fee waiver code from Diane Carter-Subko at 847-758-2372. Student will be directed to appropriate Harper College Academic Advisor for wan educational plan. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.
