Program Description
This 60 credit hour curriculum provides all the phases of fashion merchandising, not only in business aspects, but also in aesthetic and creative sides of fashion, such as window display, fashion basics and textiles. Students will study fashion history and trends as well as their influence on our lives. In addition, they will survey the development of style leading up to contemporary design. Students will also take courses in English composition, computer information systems, sociology and introductory psychology. An educational background in fashion coordination, fashion promoting, fashion advertising, fashion displaying, fashion copywriting, fashion photography, fashion buying and store management.

Application Procedure
WIOA and TAA students need to contact the Harper College Workforce Coordinator at (847) 925-6782 or WIOA@harpercollege.edu. A separate book voucher is required for Follett Bookstore #1341 on campus. Books can be shipped if requested for a small fee. Each semester, all Cook County WIOA sending agency case managers must supply the Harper College Workforce Coordinator with a Semester Training Schedule Approval Form that lists the courses the client will be taking that semester, and this must match the client's Harper Educational Plan.4
The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $3,000.
