Program Description

This 16 credit-hour certificate program is designed to build the core competencies of manufacturing production to prepare students for internships and entry-level positions in manufacturing. The MFT coursework below prepares the student for an industry recognized certification assessment. Students who successfully pass all four assessments will be recognized as Certified Production Technicians by the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC).

Application Procedure

Must contact Diane Carter-Zubko at 847-758-2372 for help with 1Exploration/TARA Form and when approved to pursue program at Harper. Student must apply to Harper College www.harpercollege.edu. Pay $25 application fee or obtain fee waiver code from Diane Carter-Zubko at 847-758-2372. Student will be directed to appropriate Harper College Academic Advisor for an educational plan if Harper is selected as the WIOA Training Provider. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $8,000.

  • Reading - Per College Placement Test Cut-off Scores
  • Language - Instruction is in English
