Program Description

The courses in this curriculum are theory, design and service oriented. Theory courses deal with energy conversions. Service courses are strongly related to a hands-on philosophy. Emphasis is placed upon operating, servicing and installing equipment. Graduates from this 61 credit hour program may be employed as service technicians, technical consultants, equipment installers, facility operation engineers, property managers, project managers, insurance adjusters and sales personnel.

Must contact Diane Carter-Zubko at 847-758-2372 for help with 1Exploration/TARA Form and when approved to pursue program at Harper. Student must apply to Harper College www.harpercollege.edu. Pay $25 application fee or obtain fee waiver code from Diane Carter-Zubko at 847-758-2372. Student will be directed to appropriate Harper College Academic Advisor for an educational plan if Harper is selected as the WIOA Training Provider.The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this program is $8,000.

  • Math - Per required Compass cut-off scores for MTH 097
  • Reading - Per required Compass cut-off scores
  • Language - Instruction is in English
  • Writing - Per required Compass cut-off scores
